Why The Pit?

Dug between the House Undergraduate Library, UNC Student Stores, Student Union, Lenoir Dining Hall, and Davis Library, The Pit sits in the center of UNC’s campus.

The Pit sees a constant stream of foot traffic every day as students walk through and stop to view performances, club stands, and fundraisers.

We station ourselves in front of The Pit, amidst Pit Preachers, students soliciting for sporting events, and political campaign volunteers. Our strategic location gives us access to every UNC student in an authentic, open environment where judgments are reserved, and opinions are encouraged.
